Who we are
We're Casey and Giuly. Casey, originally from Tennessee, has served as a missionary in the Amazon jungle since 2013. There, he met Giuly, who grew up in Peru. Married in 2016, they now work with Church Planting International where Casey serves as the Director of Jungle Missions.

Our jungle home
Life in the Amazon is an adventure filled with God's grace at every turn. We also have two beagles, which adds to the adventure! While we've faced our share of challenges - from parasites to a tropical virus that left Giuly on a liquid diet for a year - we've seen His faithfulness shine through it all. Through every difficulty and blessing, we're learning to lean more deeply on God's strength and provision, and are grateful for the opportunity to serve in this unique corner of His world.

We are saved by grace through faith in Christ's work on the cross and his resurrection.
We are conservative evangelicals who firmly believe in salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Our beliefs align with the core doctrines of evangelical Christianity, emphasizing the authority of Scripture, the necessity of personal conversion, and the importance of sharing the Gospel. While we are sent from a Baptist church, we serve alongside believers from various evangelical backgrounds who share our core convictions.
That's what we felt the Lord calling us to help with: Making disciples in remote villages. We primarily do this through:
- Theological training: Casey teaches in four seminary programs created for different tribal groups and is the director of two of them. They graduate with the skills to plant churches in their villages or strengthen existing ones. Some have even become seminary teachers themselves.
- Partnering with indigenous missionaries: Many villages have no church at all. We train and partner with local church planters who do the hard work of evangelism and starting new churches.
- Youth camps: We partner with local churches to do youth camps with up to 150 teenagers from different villages. Many have heard the gospel for the first time.
- Evangelism through medical care: By providing basic treatments for both people and animals, Giuly gets to share the message of Jesus with those who might not come to church otherwise.
- Pastoring a local church: Casey is one of the pastors at Camino de Gracia. This is our church in Pucallpa, the city we are based out of in Peru.
You might ask, "What does coffee have to do with all this?" Well, that's where Unreached Grounds comes in. We love coffee and started this business to help financially support our ministry work.
Most of these tribes are unreached because they're incredibly difficult to access. For much of our teaching, we have to fly in, land on the river, and then go at least an hour by boat. Travel expenses alone, for example, exceed $2,000 for each trip.
This is where your coffee purchase makes a real difference. Every time you buy from Unreached Grounds, you're helping us:
- Fund these trips to remote villages
- Provide seminary training materials
- Support local church leaders
- Reach more people with the Gospel
Your morning routine isn't just giving you a caffeine boost - it can help get the saving message of Jesus to some of the most isolated corners of the Amazon.
- Enjoy the coffee: Every purchase supports these ministries.
- Spread the word: Tell your friends about us and our store.
- Pray:Â That this ministry will continue to bear fruit among these tribes.
Pray that this work will play a part in seeing Revelation 7:9 come to pass:
"After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb."
